STAND WITH UKRAINE RAFFLE

The news updates we see on television, read in the news, and various other outlets on the situation that continues to evolve in Ukraine is absolutely devastating.

We are selling raffle tickets until Sunday to raise money for the humanitarian emergency following Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

There will be five draws worth approximately £150 each that will include an evening for you and three guests at the taproom with a guided brewery tour, special tasting of our Ukrainian Pale (see below for more information), along with some great food and drink. (Those unable to make the evening will received a similar offering).

Raffle entries start at £10 for one entry, £20 for three entries, and £30 for ten entries. All proceeds from the raffle will be donated to the Red Cross Humanitarian Relief Ukraine Crisis

UKRAINE PALE COLLABORATION

We will be launching a Ukrainian Golden Ale developed in partnership with Varvar brewery, which is based just east of the centre of Kyiv.

We already had Varvar scheduled to come to Full Circle, before the Russian invasion, with the plan to brew a special Ukrainian Pale Ale. Our head brewer Alex has been working on the recipe for it with them, and now the plan is to brew the beer and support Ukraine with part of the proceeds being donated to the Red Cross effort in Ukraine.

One of the Varvar team is a UK national so he should hopefully be back here in time for the brew. The other members of the team are safe, and in positive spirits, and our thoughts are with them all at this time.

The crisis in Ukraine strikes close to home at Full Circle as both Graeme, and Josh, have Ukrainian heritage, with some members of Josh's extended family still in the country. They are mainly in Lviv, just under 100km from the Polish border and while some have left into Poland, all men are currently unable to leave and have been given arms to help defend the city and country.
