Role Overview

Full Circle Brew Co. is opening an exciting new bar and restaurant at Fenwick in Newcastle. We're looking for enthusiastic, personable bar and front-of-house staff to join the opening team - this is a combined role covering both bar service and table service on the floor, working alongside the Supervisor and wider team to deliver the high standards this venue demands. Role Details

Reporting to: Management

Location: Fenwick, Newcastle

Contract: Fixed-Term (2 years) - Part-Time, Full-Time, or Casual (zero hours) considered

Hours: Flexible, including evenings and weekends

Salary: £12.71/hr + tips

Key Responsibilities

• Serve drinks to a consistently high standard - speed and accuracy matter, but so does presentation and polish.

• Greet and welcome guests warmly, setting the tone for a great experience from the moment they arrive.

• Serve food and drink to tables promptly and accurately, checking in with guests throughout their visit.

• Clear and reset tables efficiently between covers, keeping the floor clean and well-presented throughout service.

• Engage genuinely with guests - make recommendations, share your knowledge, and make them feel welcome.

• Take ownership of guest satisfaction in your section, checking in during their visit and putting small issues right before they become complaints.

• Keep your section of the bar or floor clean, well-stocked, and organised throughout every shift.

• Follow all Challenge 25, allergen, and responsible service procedures without exception.

• Handle cash and card payments accurately and in line with procedures.

• Assist with stock rotation, cellar work, and line cleaning as required.

• Communicate clearly with the kitchen team so food and drink reach guests together, in good time and to standard.

• Be a positive, reliable presence in the team - we look after each other as much as we look after our guests.

What We're Looking For

• Previous bar or hospitality experience preferred, but not essential - we train the right people.

• Comfortable moving between bar and floor service within a shift, whatever the role needs on the day.

• A genuine passion for craft beer and wine, with solid product knowledge you can put to guests confidently and use to make good recommendations.

• Warm, confident, and able to work at pace during busy periods.

• Reliable, punctual, and flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
