Job Title: Brewer

Salary: £25,000

Holidays: 20 days holiday (plus bank holidays)

Hours: 40 hours per week

The Opportunity

Full Circle Brewing Launched in late 2019, releasing our first beers in March 2020, We’ve gone from strength to strength, winning 7th best new brewery in the world by RateBeer.com in 2020 and best keg IPA by SIBA national competition with our flagship beer, Looper. We have a 4 vessel SSV brewhouse and a Microcan CP10 10 head counter pressure canning line. Our fermentation capacity is 600HL  

We are looking for a Brewer to join our team to help us meet the ever growing demand for our product in 2023. The brewer will be involved in all aspects of brewing, from wort production all the way through to packaging.

Main Duties:

•               Wort production

•               Cellaring work including fermentation management, yeast management, tank transfers, dry hopping, CIP and Carbonation of beer

•               Supporting Packaging lead with Canning/Kegging/Cask Racking

•               Supporting other brewers and team members

•               Accurate recording of brewing data

•               QC and QA – pre/post-fermentation and packaged beer

•               Represent the Full Circle at trade exhibitions, events and tastings (sometimes during evenings and weekends)

•               Data entry to brewing software



Additional Duties may include:

•             Organising brewery space

•             Stock movements, stocktaking, packing orders

•             Project work

•             Supervise brewing students or apprentices

•             Sharing any paid out-of-hours or weekend cellaring work/brewery functions and Brewery Tours

•             Managing brew schedule with Brewery Team

•             Attending brewery festivals

 

Requirements:

•            Brewing experience (at least 1 year)

•            A passion for good beer

•            Great work ethic and ability to problem solve

•            Good knowledge of the technical and scientific aspects of brewing

•            Attention to detail, good time management and ability to multitask

•            Understanding the cleaning and hygiene requirements of a brewery

•            Ability to handle and lift 25KG malt sacks

•            Basic computer skills

•            High level of verbal and written communication skills

•            Legal right to work in the UK

 

Desirable

•            Full, clean UK driving license

•            Forklift license (training can be provided)

•            Brewery Qualification
