Full Circle/Pip Stop Shop Assistant: PART-TIME APPLY NOW

We are looking for a Retail Assistant to join our small team at The Pip Stop/Full Circle . We are a quirky wine, craft beer and spirit outlet based in Hoults Yard in the Ouseburn on the same site as an exciting new brewery, Full Circle Brew Co. Full Circle is an exciting and fast growing brewery that has been operating for 2 years with multiple national awards. Pip Stop is a 6 year old business and part of a larger, independent family owned wine company. We also operate a national e-commerce business under The Pip Stop name which has been growing from strength to strength in the past few years.

This job role will be based in a retail environment and will involve retail-based tasks as well as website fulfilment. Our new recruit needs to be up for a challenge and keen to learn more about the wine and craft beer trade and e-commerce trade.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Learning the product! Very important in this role (Wine/Beer/Spirits)
• Sales - Assisting shoppers and offering advice and guidance
• Customer Service - answering calls and emails
• Epos system management
• Order fulfilment- from printing postage labels to packing orders and distribution.
• Stock control and management
• Visual merchandising and pricing products
• Cash handling
• · Managing social channels to promote the business.

Other Responsibilities Include:

• Cleaning duties
• Website/EPOS back office management
• Managing, receiving and storing stock

Required skills and education:

• A friendly and engaging personality who is helpful and polite
• Comfortable working with members of the public and within a small team
• You should have a genuine interest and desire to learn more about the wine/beer and spirits trade.
• A sound understanding of computers
• Assistants should be physically fit as they will be on their feet for most of the day and may be required to lift large amounts of stock
• Should be of a smart appearance and articulate

Desirable Skills:

• Previous retail or customer-facing work experience is desired
• Helpful if confident in public speaking in front of a small group
• Ability to use your own initiative and manage workload
• Generate ideas of how the business can grow and improve

Weekend work is required. This role is 3 days a week working from Friday-Sunday every week.
