Role Overview
Full Circle Brew Co. is opening an exciting new bar and restaurant at Fenwick in Newcastle, bringing an elevated fried chicken and burger concept to the city centre in partnership with Peckin' Order. We're looking for multiple kitchen assistants to join the team — this is a straightforward, well-supported role with clear recipes and strong leadership above you from our Kitchen Manager and CDP. Whether you're just starting out, returning to hospitality, or looking for a fresh challenge, we want to hear from you. What matters most is energy, reliability, and a willingness to learn.
Role Details
Reporting to: CDP / Kitchen Manager
Location: Fenwick, Newcastle
Contract: Fixed-Term (2 years) — Full-Time or Part-Time considered
Start date: October 2026
Hours: Flexible, including evenings and weekends
Salary: £12.71–£13.00/hr + tips
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and cook all dishes to the provided recipes and plating guides — consistency and presentation are non-negotiable.
• Work at pace during service, keeping up with demand without letting standards drop.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe kitchen station throughout every shift.
• Follow all HACCP procedures, allergen controls, and food safety standards without exception.
• Assist with daily prep, stock rotation, and mise en place as directed by the CDP or Kitchen Manager.
• Take direction well and act on feedback quickly — you're here to learn as much as to deliver.
• Flag any equipment issues, stock shortages, or food safety concerns to the CDP or Kitchen Manager promptly.
What We're Looking For
• No formal qualifications required — we welcome applications from candidates at any stage of their kitchen career.
• Any kitchen experience (professional or otherwise) is an advantage, but attitude and reliability matter more than a CV.
• Comfortable working at pace in a busy environment and taking direction from senior kitchen staff.
• A genuine team player who takes pride in their work.
• Food hygiene certificate (Level 2) preferred, or willingness to obtain.
• Flexible availability including evenings and weekends.
