Trade Sales Executive APPLY NOW
READY FOR YOUR NEXT PINT... CAREER?
You know the trade inside out. You've run a busy bar, managed a cellar, trained staff, dealt with reps, and kept customers happy on the busiest Saturday night of the month. Now imagine using all of that — minus the late nights and weekend shifts — to build a career on the other side of the bar.
Full Circle Brew Co is looking for a Trade Sales Executive to join our growing sales team, covering the North West and M62 Corridor. This is a brilliant first step out of hospitality and into a structured sales career, with full training and support from our Head of Sales.
Why hospitality professionals make great sales people
● You already understand the trade — stock, cellar management, ordering, margins and what makes a bar tick.
● You've built relationships with reps and suppliers — now you'll be the rep people are glad to see.
● You're used to thinking on your feet, solving problems, and dealing with people from all walks of life.
● You've probably already been informally 'selling' — upselling, running promotions, managing events.
What changes (for the better)
● Your hours: predominantly Monday–Friday, daytime — no more late nights, most weekends free.
● Your income: a stable salary, company car, pension and healthcare — benefits most hospitality roles don't offer.
● Your career path: a genuine progression route into senior field sales or account management as you grow.
● Your relationship with beer: you'll stay close to the industry and the products you love, just from a different seat at the table.
ROLE OVERVIEW
The Trade Sales Executive will build and grow relationships with on-trade customers (pubs, bars, restaurants) and support our wholesaler partners across the North West and M62 Corridor. You'll work closely with our Head of Sales, who leads our key wholesaler and national account relationships, learning the ropes on the bigger accounts while taking day-to-day ownership of your own patch.
This is a relationship-first role. You won't be expected to arrive with an existing address book of trade contacts — you'll be expected to build one, using the people skills you've already developed behind the bar.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
On-Trade — Building Your Patch
● Manage and grow a portfolio of on-trade accounts (pubs, bars, restaurants, venues) across your territory.
● Identify new business opportunities and build relationships with prospective venues.
● Support tap takeovers, tastings and events alongside the marketing team.
● Carry out regular account visits, building strong, lasting relationships with venue owners and managers.
● Track rate of sale and feed performance insights back to the Head of Sales.
Wholesaler Support
● Support day-to-day wholesaler relationships and order queries within your territory, working alongside the Head of Sales on strategic wholesaler accounts.
● Help monitor stock levels, pricing and availability across partner depots.
● Join the Head of Sales on key wholesaler visits to build your knowledge of the bigger relationships over time.
General Sales Operations
● Maintain accurate customer records and notes in the CRM system.
● Manage your own call schedule and regional sales plan, with support from the Head of Sales.
● Attend trade shows, regional festivals and events as needed.
● Share market and competitor insights back into the wider business.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Required
● Experience in a hospitality supervisory or management role — e.g. bar manager, assistant manager, general manager or similar — ideally within craft beer or a beer-focused venue.
● A genuine passion for and knowledge of craft beer and the wider UK beer landscape.
● Confident, personable, and comfortable building relationships with people at all levels.
● A UK driving licence — this role is field-based with regular travel across the territory.
● Well organised, self-motivated, and comfortable managing your own diary and workload.
Desirable
● Some exposure to stock ordering, supplier management or cellar/quality management.
● Existing knowledge of the North West or M62 Corridor on-trade landscape.
● Familiarity with Google Sheets, Breww, or similar stock/sales systems (training provided).
● Cicerone or similar beer qualification (not essential, training available).
WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU
● Company car
● Company pension
● Life assurance policy — £50,000 death in service
● Access to Company Shop — discount store
● Yearly profit share scheme
● Company-wide discount — beer/wine/gifting/sweets
● Westfield Health — private health care
● Attend domestic and international festivals
● Training and progression path into a senior field sales role
