Hippy Jungle Lands in Tesco Stores Nationwide!

Hippy Jungle Has Made It To Tesco!

It is official, Hippy Jungle is available to buy in Tesco. We are absolutely buzzing to announce that we are collaborating with The OddBalls Foundation and releasing our limited edition tropical pale ale 'Hippy Jungle'.

This collaboration with The OddBalls Foundation is going to be bigger than ever as we are reactivating the beer for the third time as a 4 pack which will be heading into 636 Tesco stores across the UK. Launching this in April made perfect sense as it is Testicular Cancer Awareness Month.

The can is designed to do more than just hold great beer; it's a platform to raise awareness about Testicular Cancer and encourage the importance of regular self-checks.

What is The OddBalls Foundation?

Founded in Newcastle in 2015, The OddBalls Foundation has now been raising awareness for over a decade. Testicular cancer is the most common cancer affecting men aged 15 to 49 in the UK, but when caught early, it is highly treatable and often curable. As a nationwide charity, they work to educate men of all ages about testicular cancer, encourage regular self-checking, and promote open conversations around men’s health and early detection.

Our Work Alongside The OddBalls Foundation

We're working with The OddBalls Foundation again, a fantastic charity based in the Newcastle area, so it's local to us. Supporting testicular cancer awareness is also incredibly important to us. The audience attached to The OddBalls Foundation is in line with our own target market, men between the ages of 18-49 so it's a perfect collaboration in that respect.

We hope this collaboration brings more eyes to Hippy Jungle as well as making people more aware of testicular cancer.

What else can you expect from this collab?

Alongside the launch of Hippy Jungle, the The OddBalls Foundation will be taking the OddPod  the charity’s mobile awareness unit  on the road across the UK. Designed with private spaces where men can learn how to perform a self-check alongside trained team members, the OddPod helps encourage open conversations around testicular cancer awareness and early detection. The tour will visit flagship supermarkets nationwide, including Tesco HQ.

The OddPod will also be appearing at the London Craft Beer Festival in Southwark Park on 18th and 19th July, where Hippy Jungle and The OddBalls Foundation will host a joint stand throughout the festival.
